Loyalty Program
A loyalty program is a marketing strategy designed to encourage customers to continue to shop or use the services of a business associated with the program.
Why are loyalty programs important?
Better customer retention: Today, customers make purchasing decisions not just on price, but on their shared values, commitment, and overall experience with your brand.
More customer referrals: If your customers enjoy the benefits of your loyalty program, they will tell their friends and family.
Cost-effectiveness: It is more cost-effective for your business to retain happy customers than to continually acquire and retain new ones.
User-Generated Content: Programs that encourage happy customers to post reviews and ratings on websites and social media create authentic ambassadors for your brand.
How it works
To participate in the program, a user must create a customer account in your online store. From the management pages of the user area, they can issue their personal virtual card with a unique 16-digit number.
Issuer Identification Number (IIN)
A unique identification number for reward cards is created for your e-store. This number is the first six digits of the 16-digit card number.
They can then make purchases and the amount they spend will be rewarded with points, according to the settings you have made. These points correspond to an amount of currency. For each subsequent purchase, they can convert the points into the corresponding discount amount.
Activate Program
If supported by your plan, you can activate the program by going from the main menu to: Reward Cards > List.
Activation will create a new system page with information about the program and a hyperlink to this page in the footer menu. Also, a section will appear on the cart preview page to promote the program when the user is not logged in.
Program Settings
After activation, your first action should be to define the program settings. Learn more on the loyalty program settings page.
