Adding a product
Products are the main information of an online store. Before adding a product, you must have defined some data related to the products in your catalog. These are:
- Categories
- Attributes
- Combinations
- Brands
These elements are used by all products, so you must define them before you start importing your products. For importing products, only categories are mandatory and you must definitely create them.
Steps
Once you have entered your product categories, you can proceed with adding them.
- From the admin menu, click Products > New Product.
- Set the product name or title, along with any other details you want.
- Click Submit.
Note
The Submit button is disabled until you set the required details. Once you set the name, images, price, and categories, it will be enabled and you will be able to submit the product.
