Order settings

There are some global settings for orders that you can make.

Order settings

1. From the admin menu, click Settings > Orders.
2. Apply the prices you want according to your business needs.
3. Click Save.

Settings explanation

Show taxes on the checkout page:
By law, it is mandatory for online stores to display taxes to the consumer on their checkout pages. With this setting, you can allow or hide their display.

Minimum amount required to validate the order (€):
You can set an amount below which the order will not be completed. Use a price that is proportional to the average cost of the products or the product with the lowest price.

Warning text for order validation:
An informative or warning text may appear below the checkout button. This text informs the customer that they must confirm their details, the total of the cart, and read the store's terms of use and privacy policy before proceeding to validate the order.

Allow the customer to leave an order note during checkout:
This setting, when selected "Yes" from the list, displays a field on the checkout page where the customer can write some notes about their order.

Informational text about the order note:
Write an informative text that explains or offers more information about the order note field. It appears above this field.

Delivery note for in-stock products:
This setting and the two following ones concern an additional informative note about product deliveries and appear below the availability block on product pages. For in-stock products you can write the delivery time, for example.

Delivery note for products that can be pre-ordered:
For products that are not in stock but can be pre-ordered (back-ordered) with a longer delivery time, you can write an update about this delay.

Delivery note for products that are not available:
Similarly, here, you can write an update for products that are no longer available or cannot be ordered due to lack of stock.
